The University of Liverpool Zero Carbon Research Institute (ZCRI) is a unique multidisciplinary research and consultancy group led by our research director Dr Stephen Finnegan and supported by industry sponsored PhD researchers. Its goal is to assist in designing and implementing strategies to achieve the UK Governments plan for all buildings to be Net Zero Carbon (NZC) by 2050.
Our work involves the design of NZC strategies, the calculation of the “embodied” and “operational” carbon impact of products and buildings and the publication of our research. Click on the menu in the top right to find out more.
